Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative design and resource person to join our team. The successful candidate will be required to work on some of key aspects of Job Description that includes enhancing the visual appeal and effectiveness of our research outputs. You will be responsible for designing cover pages for reports, creating graphics for web content, layouting and formatting of documents, and other design-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Report Cover Design:
Develop eye-catching and professionally designed cover pages for our research reports, making them visually engaging and consistent with our branding guidelines.
Web Graphics:
Create compelling graphics, charts, and infographics for reports & web content, ensuring that they effectively convey complex policy ideas and data under the directions of Research team.
Document Formatting:
Format research reports, white papers, and other documents to ensure a consistent, clean, and reader-friendly layout.
Brand Consistency:
Maintain and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring that all design elements align with the organization’s visual identity and messaging.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with research teams, content creators, and web developers to ensure that design and layout meet project requirements.
Quality Assurance:
Review and proofread documents to maintain a high level of accuracy, including grammar, spelling, and formatting.
Software Proficiency:
Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Coreldraw) and document formatting tools (e.g., Microsoft Word) effectively.
Video editing skills desirable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s / Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
Proven experience in graphic design, document formatting, and layout.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Coreldraw).
Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Understanding of public policy and the ability to visually convey complex information is a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Remuneration: As per industry standards
